Back up Center trade



We need another center in rotation. Deni hasn’t and won’t pan out to be what we need. And Johnny Davis is a Gleague player at best. We trade them and a 2nd rd. For wiseman who’s looking to rejuvenate his career in a no pressure situation.

    Bad trade for us. We have no idea what Johnny is yet and Deni is, at times, an elite defender which every team needs.

    I’m not a Deni believer by any means, but to say Wiseman has potential bc he’s young but to write off Deni and Davis as busts is big time “the grass is greener” thinking. Wiseman has not looked like a rotational NBA player yet.

    All in all we need another big. If we stay home with what we have we’ll have to draft 1 in the future. But in the same breath the vets that we have won’t resign because eventually we want to get out of tank mode

    We need another center for what? to win more games? and if we did, we can find one on the free agent market for cheap without trading away assets.

    Wiseman is a trash asset on his second team and a long term project in the best case. Deni has value as an asset if we decide to move him, and JD is… JD, but god damn it if we let him go this early.

    And he’s on an expiring deal. We have him for a year and then don’t resign him and are left with nothing except cap space. TF we gonna do with cap space? Try and sign KD again?

    Edit: one last note, we don’t need any more projects. With Bilal, Cory, Deni, and JD we have enough young guys. We need steady veterans and draft picks
