Aight I know the overreactions would have been annoying if we sucked this game so I’m gonna be annoyingly overreacting the other way since we were good

    WE’RE SO BACK

  2. Oooooh, OG gon’ get paid and some of y’all gon’ be big mad.

  3. RaiseLive1654

Scottie is the main man now and Dick looks good!

  4. Bowiescorvat2

Great game by the Raps but holy hell Nowell is god awful.

  5. It’s just a preseason game but just the overall rehaul of the offensive system looks great. It’s impressive how quickly Darko rehauled the system. Looks like everyone has bought in and with proper ball movement we can make use of the crazy number of wings we have.

This new system especially with the additions of Schroder and Dick will make this season interesting to watch how this new system grows.

    Raps basketball is ba

Barnes and Trent and OG all played good

Hope Gradey gets more playing time with the main core next game kidd got a fast release

Nowell had a rough game today

  7. jjkiller26

Scottie looks improved, that’s all i need to see

  8. Eastern-Technology84

Gary needs to sign that extension last week.

  9. pdappadon

Just pre season, but it was refreshing to see ball movement & a free flowing offense. Scottie bout to go crazy this year!

  10. pakattack91

Loved the ball movement. Grady is going to play, his off ball running, and gravity open up a lot.

Nowrll going to need to bounce back hard because he got picked on over and over again.

  11. jumpthroughit

Shout out to Pascal. Looked for teammates all night, locked in on defense, didn’t try to do too much, played hard. Not always easy to make that adjustment for a star but you can see he’s putting in the effort.

  12. Eclectic_Canadian

Scottie can simply impose his will on a defence. He doesn’t need to be able to shoot to be an effective offensive player, he can bully his way inside and make tough shots. His playmaking ability to go with the dominating drive could make him great very quickly

  13. OguguasVeryOwn

Great win on many fronts but holy hell Malachi is bad and Nowell was even worse 😅

Do I appreciate everything Fred did for us and wish him the best? yes.

Do I also enjoy watching our main roster operate noticably more as a team than I have in the past few years? Also yes.

Not wanting to shit on Fred at all, but the improved unity on the court was palpable today, just look at the assist numbers.

  15. Not that I am expecting Nowell to be a rotation calibre player but it’s hardly fair to judge him after one preseason game. People need to re-adjust their expectations for second round picks and undrafted players.

  16. Scottie looked awesome tonight. So did OG and Gary. Everyone still looks a lil rusty, but that’s normal this time of year. The new offense is so much more fun to watch and now I’m even more excited for the season to start.

If Gary can improve his passing just a bit, he honestly could be a 6MotY candidate. He looked great leading that bench unit. Overall the bench is looking better too, but the deep bench guys were not looking to hot. Gueye looked promising though and Gradey showed some real potential. He’s quick to shoot, but it looked like he was trying a bit too much to start. I think he’ll be a great player for us down the line though.

  17. TJStrawberry

Denis was actually impressive for his very first game with all new teammates as the lead PG. Seems to mesh well with the group and knew when to pass/drive/cut.

  18. Is it just me, or does Gueye look like Boucher with dreads (from a distance anyway)?

  19. keegsbrou

It sucks Gradey wasn’t able to get burn with the starters, but he looked really solid!

I’m super excited about and impressed with McDaniels. Showed offensive flash and his defense was amazing. There was one play in the 1st half where he rotated like 8 times in one possession and forced a terrible shot. I really think he’s gonna have a big impact this year.

  20. I’m excited about everything, the offense and defense both looked good, our new additions looked good too. We still need another PG though. If the plan is to continue with this core, which at this point looks like the plan, I wouldn’t mind going and getting Brogdon from the Blazers. I like Schroeder but I think a guy like Brogdon would fit the starters better, giving them more shooting and then Schroeder can run the bench and not have to worry about shooting as much because we have Gradey and Gary.

  21. AngryHelicopter

Pretty fun, but the point guard depth is still nonexistent. Malachi Flynn is not and never will be an NBA player. Nowell is very unlikely to be an NBA player.

  22. brownshugguh

Very very happy with McDaniels. Guy plays hard and is decisive.

  23. _Gourmand

Notice how actually sharing the basketball and getting good looks helps you win. Looks way more calculated already. Scottie Barnes is going to be elite

  24. Sudden_Low9120

It would have been nice if the first unit played with Dick but I think Gueye/Dick could be a decent combo

  25. Nice preview of what’s to come very enjoyable game to watch

  26. rahibloveslife

I was there and the crowd was electric. Vancouver needs an NBA team like real bad! People were going crazy.

  27. Key_Suspect_588

Good lord that was beautiful watching Scottie run the ball up the floor like a mfer

  28. Initial_Stretch_3674

Don’t care that we are passing better, or offensively sinking more efficiently. Not sure how that is sustainable.

What i do fucking love is the effort. Hopefully Darko can sustain that throughout the season. A lot of why last season was terrible because it seemed like most players just gave up.
