Great sign to see our younger second unit lock in and secure the OT win we had a few losses last year that seemed like our second unit struggled to close games. I really believe as the season goes on we will prove to have incredible depth that leads to wins. I dont worry at all about our starting unit. This really may be our year..

Guess this guy didn’t see rose in playoffs 2 years ago. Anyway thibs benched rose for defensive reasons not because d rose couldn’t still score! Memphis is gonna need need Drose to bolster that second unit as the six man. He did it for New York and they were successful that season

The past two seasons Marcus Smart has started at PG for the Celtics and they've been in the Finals and game 7 of the conference finals yet Joe doesn't think he can hold down the position for the Grizzlies for 25 games until Ja comes back?!?!?. Also, if Jaren is going to play the 4, then like every other 4 in today's NBA he needs to be a stretch 4 and beginning in that Lakers series his 3 point shot has been broken. If he can't consistently knock down 3's the Grizzlies offense will have very little spacing with the closing lineup of Ja, Bane, Smart, Jaren, and Adams.
Weird how many people are coming down on JM. He's a realist. The difference between him and most, once he sees something contrary to his previous beliefs, he'll admit his take was wrong.
