What was Masai thinking not trying to bring back Banton? He’s a 6’7 point guard, hometown player, with great potential. He just dropped 20 points (even though it’s just preseason), but showed flashes last season (27 point game), even with Nurse giving him virtually no minutes. And no disrespect to Malachi Flynn, but I would take Banton over him in a heartbeat. And all that for him just to go to one of our eastern rivals (no disrespect to him, just going for a way better chance of getting a championship). And from my understanding, he wanted to come back to the Raptors, but why didn’t the front office get it done?
