That’s an encouraging game except for steward holy shit
Some tough choices to make before season starts it seems, I hope our bench plays more in the remaining 3 games to get a clear idea
All leading towards a revenge game against the Knicks in our season opener
Refs think people buy tickets to watch them. Way too many 50/50 calls.
+New guy with Scal is solid
+Pritchard is the greatest 7th man of all time.
+I really Like the hustle play’s From everyone today
Drew Carter is solid, I think we’re in good hands. It’s not easy to jibe with Scal lol.
Pritchy pritchy good
I thought it was gonna be Walsh that’s gonna be my favorite player after Grant. Looks like it’s gonna be Stevens instead.
Give him minutes, Joe!
We’re going to love this team. Lamar and Oshae off the bench hustling and playing hard… THOSE are Boston players. High character and highly talented top 6 that play very smart. Pritchard can change the game with his press/hustle on D and nailing some 3s.
Tonight witness the birth of: THE PRITCHING HOUR!
Really liking what I’ve seen so far from Stevens, Banton, and Brissett.
shy is a stud
Sam/Luke – plays better around starter
Oshae – im excited to his latest video on his YT channel. I will watch it as soon as i finish this comment
Lamar – ish ish
PP – bank is open
Gabriel – Hibbert lite
Walsh – did he commit 3 travelling violation?
JD – decent and a pass first pg
Svi – ish ish
PP and Svi of the bench are gonna be fire. Plus Oshae and Stevens are gonna bring a ton of energy off the bench. I think they can replace some of what we lost with Grant.
Sviatoslav “Svi” Yuriyovych Mykhailiuk is a Ukrainian professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics – ITS HIM!
It’s refreshing having a player like svi on this team
the only guy who really disappointed me tonight was wenyen gabriel. just looked completely lost on both ends, getting beat in the post on both ends. hopefully it’s just rust and jitters, cuz if not he’s probably gonna be the first on the chopping block before the season starts.
Love this bench. The motor and energy is something this teams been lacking and it’s gunna fire up our starters. I feel like I can maybe finally be excited about this team without the false sense of hope.
Come on neemi 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹
Svi will need some minutes
Payton Pritchard will be a very solid backup PG by Christmas
Walsh with two steals in 19 minutes—he still doesn’t seem to be completely up to NBA speed, but I think he’ll get there.
Editing to add that he snagged seven rebounds, too—the second highest total on the team. That’s a great stat, IMO. They drafted him for his hustle and defensive tenacity. He’ll be a great role player.
Brissett
Svi
Banton
Walsh
Stevens
Walsh bet on himself to get in the rotation by playing hero ball and he failed. But he’s gonna be fine worst case scenario is a Red Claws stint which is not really the worst thing in the world.
I’d love to see Queta get some more minutes Wednesday. Lead the team in +/- and Kornet looked pretty awful. Solid game otherwise, lots of hustle from people competing for jobs.
Pritchard(21/3/5 plus 3 steals and 4/11 from 3) looked good again and Svi(15/3/1 and 3/7 from 3) I thought played well, but other than that I thought it was a pretty mixed bag for guys looking to claim a rotation spot.
-Banton looked good as a driver and playmaker, but isn’t a good enough shooter to justify the kinds of pull-ups he loves to take, and he wants to take a fair few of them.
-Lamar Stevens with 4 fouls and just 1/5 from 3, but he did provide some very nice hustle plays and had 8 boards. he also had a Marcus Smart-esque, “No no no Yes!” 3 late in the 4th and then also added a putback right after.
-Walsh felt like he was sort of just out there for the most part aside from the steal into a transition bucket.
-Hauser is showing off some improved passing, but he’s struggled in both preseason games to hit from deep. Hopefully it’s just some rust he needs to get off.
Walsh is good on defense but cant really attack closeouts
Balton and Pritchard are good ballhanders
Svi and Hauser are movement shooters
Brisett has good crashing/cutting tendencies but he just needs to hit those open jumpers
Kornett might really be the best option as the 3rd center. Neemas and Wenyen didnt stand out to me
We are so winning the chip

Reserve wing race is getting spicy.
Hauser’s shot not falling but we know he can shoot. Brissett and Stevens both play bigger than their size, rebound, and hustle. Both need to make their open corner 3s to stay on the court.
Banton is the most interesting for sure. Talented offensive player with a tighter handle than I thought. Interested to see if he can continue to attack and play make.
I said it last season and I’ll say it now, Kornet is not a serviceable player idc how good of a locker room player he was he’s not good and he shouldn’t be playing.
I’m bummed Brissett’s shot looks so broken because I like the rest of his game. I was hoping he could bounce back to somewhere between his first two years in Indiana. It’s a small sample, but it doesn’t look clean coming off his hands and I think a couple of his turnovers came because he was looking to drive instead of taking the shot.
I remain confused by Banton. He has talent, but I don’t really see how it fits in lineups with better players. Hopefully he and the team can figure it out. He has an interesting game at the very least
Pritchard should probably sit in the next game.
Banton looked really good
kornet is the worst center i’ve ever seen, not even gunna argue with y’all this time
I remember getting downvoted for saying SVI, Stevens and Oshae will be better than Hauser and thus far all of them have prove they deserve minutes over him. That’s not a knock on Sam but they aren’t one dimensional like Hauser, plus we don’t need a guy who can only shoot when 1-7 on the roster already shoots excellent from 3.
It’d be a travesty if Stevens and Oshae aren’t the next guys off the bench after PP, AL. Great energy/hustle , rebound well and can defend. Solid glue guys to have on the roster that fill the void we have.
If there’s one thing I noticed… the dude we got from the Kings deserves all of Kornet’s minutes.
He was smart out there with his positioning and he was very nimble for a 7 footer. He did get called for like 3 moving screens. I don’t even mind Kornet, this dude just seemed way more effective he just needs to cut down on a couple dumb mistakes
