i didn't watch the game. but going based on the highlights, it seems like they barely guarded each other. i didn't see one clip of them guarding each other in this video.
it seems like the game plan was to guard/play against mismatches.

It’s too early to predict that and we know Rose history since his torn acl and still in the league in 2023 soon to be 2024.
