  1. Where is Masai's accountability??? Masai comes out all defensive on media day and essentially blames the players for "playing selfish". Take responsibility for YOUR poor roster construction and asset management issues and fix them. The team still has 3-4 players that have the same skillset. I'm afraid the best before date on Masai has expired when you essentially blame the players at media day availability. That's a bad look.

  2. Ooooooh it was good for us 😂 I love this guy good riddance FVV & Nurse hahaha Pascal better fall in line and stay in corner hit those corner three’s. Best Pascal was when he stuck in corner playing of Kawhi & Kyle! Pascal is so bad with IQ name one time he set pick of someone. Look at Denver how many times the Joker & Jamal Murray ran Pick ‘n’ roll? FVV & Pascal played for years together not once those 2 guys ran that action… Because they’re selfish!!!!

  3. If Siakam isn’t either A) signed to an extension or B) traded before the start of the season we’re insanely fucked

  4. Look at all the hockey fans jumping down Masai's throat. You all sure do want basketball out of this country dont you. The lets make hockey great again crew is in full effect in the chat. 😅

  5. Masai is one of the best basketball executives in the NBA. He is sticking to the roots of Toronto which is to develop our talent and look for opportunities to trade for Superstar players who wouldn’t come to our team organically. As for Pascal, he tanked his value by saying he doesn’t plan on resigning with anyone else other than the Raptors thus handcuffing the organization from making a good deal. Other teams know we have good players and try to lure them by placing false narratives in the media to create drama in the locker room. FVV while one of the greatest Raptors, he was a problem who was extremely selfish on the court along with Pascal who ensured the ball was stagnant and didn’t move. Trust in Masai and know that there is a plan to develop our guys. Early in the year there will be growing pains adjusting to a new coach and offence. Be patient Toronto, Rome wasn’t built in a day! Scottie Barnes evolution starts this year!

  6. What a dismal team we’ve become, hearing Masai talking about one thing and doing another. Absolutely shambolic management

  7. This is comical 😂😂😂😂

All he had to do was pull the trigger, but instead allowed Fred to hold free auditions for Houston all last season.

  8. Masai is the best GM in the league! It's sad most people in this fanbase won't realize it until he isn't with us any more (God forbid the day). No other GM shows his amount of dedication to try to win and give us the best basketball to watch in the league. Every time he has fallen short, he 's adjusted and turned water into wine. He understands what it is to put the best of the organization first even if it means making tough decisions . Other organizations do everything they can to poach our players coaches, still he has maintained a lvl of basketball that no other team could in our situation, still he is doubted by fans while everyone else envies us for having him. He somehow brings Jama back along with Darko coming in, I don't understand wanting him to move players when this team hasn't had the chance to show its full potential since Lowry left. We finally have a situation where we can truly evaluate how well they can play as a team, an opportunity to see who to keep and let go. Throw away this opportunity just to say we got "new star players" we have to start from scratch with? Tank for a better pick? The last 7 championship teams are ones that develop not tank for the number 1 most of the teams that make it far don't. Our GM is trying to build a winning atmosphere it's going to take time the quick fixes are for the teams that try to act like they want to win and sell their fans a dream, Masai actually shoots for the stars and has brought us the MOON already. What he has built here can't be bought, I hope he knows not all of us overlook it.

  9. Twice he talked avout respecting the player, in reference for not trading Fred at the deadline. How about Fred leaving for nothing? Where is the respect for that? That's such a BS answer, respect for Fred. How about respecting the team first, Masai???

  10. Sad to see how pathetic Masai has become. I remember when he used to be honest & confident. Now he sweats and lies through his interviews. His body language is terrible. So many contradicitions. He makes a dumb excuse for not trading Fred, and letting him walk for nothing. He tried to say that was because the Raps org. shows respect for players. Weird since he followed that up by throwing his hardest working player under the bus. Now Siakam will probably walk for nothing. Then Masai says he will be calling players out, making them accountable. Next question was about Barnes training this summer. Masai squirmed and lied his way out of that one. Insiders, and the media know Masai was not happy with Barnes' off season training. Masai again talked about the org. being patient? Seriously, that has not worked well for the FO the past 3 seasons, I think everyone was hoping that he would dump that losing strategy. Masai's interview reminded me of Nurses interview last season, when he had the meltdown. Time for Masai to go, before he does anymore damage to this team.

  11. Masai is completely washed at this point. Get this guy out of the front office ASAP.

  12. I was so sick of watching Fred and Siakam ISO all of last season. I miss the fun unselfish way Kyle Lowry played that was fun to watch for a decade.

  13. A lot of people aren’t patient. I’ve been with this team since 95. Seen the good the bad the ugly. It’s a new season and I’m here for it. Let’s go!

  14. stop sucking up to masai, i want to see results, and lately he hasn't produced any!!!

  15. Just met Masai Ujiri and took a picture with him, was so exited to meet him, nice person and loved what he bringed and all the love he showed.

  16. So many casuals in this comment section just wanting a trade to scratch their itch before they get bored and switch channels mid-season anyway. These same idiots don’t even realize that all the teams that made “big” trades this offseason have an average age of 95. For any actual Raps fans out there, going young means letting these old farts die out and waiting for your wave to rise. Watch the young teams and see if anyone can keep up with Scottie bc that will be his competition. Otherwise just stick with 2k bc I already know you fakers wouldn’t be able to handle being around real hoopers anyway with your silly opinions.
