  1. Kat just has to return to form and stay healthy, wolves X factors will be how big of a leap will McDaniels take and can Rudy bounce back from an off year.

  2. Dallas' biggest X factor by far will be Derick Lively. If he is able to be a proper NBA starting center then I dont see Dallas being lower than the 6th seed.

  3. Shaedon Sharpe is going to have a breakout season. I think the Blazers are going to trade Simons soon since Scott and Sharpe are their future.

  4. I for one cannot wait to see number one option Jordan Poole. That should be quite the adventure to watch on a random Wednesday night on League Pass when none of the other games have started yet. πŸ˜„

  5. Great vid!
I agree with most of your picks…
I think the Wizards X-factor is Deni Avdija. He is an elite defender, great playmaker at 6’9, and if his offensive game will be like his second half of last season (after the Hachimura trade) the wizards will be in a great spot.

  6. i would watch even longer form content from you if that's something you could put out. there's a loosely brett kollmann-shaped hole in nba youtube, i think

  7. The true X factor always emerges in the middle of the season. If its a mathematical formula. Its a player whose value is most determining of a teams win or loss result.

It can be a super star but i find when a team gets 4-5 players up to double figures its always that 5th or 6th guy where you say. If you get 10 from him. You got an exponentially higher chance vs the star who averages greater than double figures so its almost academic win or loss they get double figures.

  8. Really appreciate how you open with "..who I think is the biggest x factor" rather than pretending you have the all seeing eye of god like so many youtubers / people these days. Makes a much easier entry point for me. Thank you.

  9. as someone slightly new to watching the nba and as a kings fan, i believe our x factor is probably more someone like Keegan Murray and if he can make a jump defensively.I believe if he can do this it elevates the kings from a playoff team to a fringe contender

  10. If I needed to pick the player to be Nuggets X-Factor, it will be Peyton Watson

He has all-world defensive potential, but very raw on offence. If PWat gets stable shooting, he will be big upgrade from last year's Jeff Green on the bench.
Also all 3 rookies could be impactful on second unit as well: Pickett has opportunity eventually replace Reggie Jackson as a main playmaker on the bench and Strawther/Tyson are very nice 3&D guys.

  11. For the Nuggets, I personally think it's MPJ, dude is only 25 and he coming off a fully healthy season, will he become that guy and definitively make the Nuggets a big 3?

  12. great content man, thank you 😊. I agree with the Raptors, their success hinges on Scottie's development but I'm a bit more optimistic about the season because of the coaching change and FVV's departure that should be addition by subtraction in my opinion.

  13. Its not clear blazers are tanking, theyve actually said they dont want to three years in a row now a few times this past week. BUt ya, low pressure, cuz if we naturally end up tanking, it jus benefits us lol. But yeah, a bit off there as far as purpose and what moves now have been made to see whats up this year

  14. The Utah Jazz X-Factor is Kris Dunn, who is the only PG on the roster and fills a positional need. The team won't focus necessarily on younger lineups, they are going to try to win while the youngsters ain't ready for the NBA yet.

  15. Warriors' X factor will be Kuminga. For CP3, it's just a matter of can he fit into the Warriors or not. If not, bye bye next season. If yes, they get the ticket to compete for championship. If Kuminga takes a huge leap in his game this season, he could possibly give the Warriors a legit shot to win it all this season.
