    Honestly, the scariest thing about the East this year is that as far as I can tell every team is going into the season with the expectation of competing for a playoff spot.

    There’s no pre-tanking. If Charlotte or Detroit gets blitzed with losses or injuries early maybe they pivot to a quick tank, but with the Raptors and Bulls having not been sellers it appears every team is going to be in competition for a playoff spot to start the year.

    There’s always been a couple of designated tanking teams in the east for the last decade, so it’ll be interesting to see.

    Herro and Richardson are not team changing additions like Jrue and Porzingis though.

    Should be interesting once playoffs come around, seems like the East is very top heavy and will likely lead to some pretty trash games if it isn’t the big boys vs the big boys
