This “Battle of the tweaks” between Luka and Kyrie continues, like they’re trying to one up each other. That happened post-Kyrie trade, which led directly to the Mavs missing the playoffs last year. The Mavs are headed for a 9th seed finish if Luka and Kyrie each play less than 65 games.
Note: Durant and Kyrie could not win road games until they got Harden.
Starting lineup should be Luka-Kai-Josh-Grant-Lively IMO
Why would it be concerning ? Mavs are powerhouse without Luka and Kyrie
I think LD’s persistent injury could be due to lack of core strength training, which could be putting pressure on the rest of his body to work harder. Yoga/Pilates could help with that along with longer intervals of stretches. I noticed this during some of his workout posts on social media, could you pass this along to the team trainers?
Irving getting injured is nothing new…the last 4-5 years he always gets injured and mostly the worst time…

Yes its concerning, 2 weeks until season start they shouldn't be dealing with these injuries. This is why I thought Luka shouldn't play in Euroleague at all.

Injuries? I dont see Irving playing 50 games or Luka playing 65 games, without those two can Mavs qualify for the playoffs??? Supporting cast worst in the NBA? Hopefully not, but haven't seen much to build alot of confidence on todate. Who is the third opition? THJ, Hardy, Williams or Green. Dont think anyone has stepped up with consistent play, Williams have shown the least IMO. Think.we need a few trades rather than going into the season with so many questions and glaring holes. Wonder how the players feel about getting beat by a non NBA team.. Hope we get healthy and build on positive play.

I think mavs can find a trade for Og or Pascal. Also even when mavs made wcf they started that season struggling and figured it out. Luka needs to figure out how to play with kyrie look what lebron did. I think Luka wants to do so much that it can be hard for none role players. Kp had issues with chemistry as well. Kp was by far better shooter but didn’t get the touches.
The silver lining is that Exum and Seth looked like good upgrades as guards compared to last year with Ntilikna, Campazzo, and Josh and Hardy masquerading as point guards. The bad thing is that Hardy should have shown that he is capable and ready to be the 3rd best player, which he didnt.
I can't wait to see this team when EVERYONE'S healthy. So many combinations for offense and defense. I'm excited

Not concerned with Pre-Season. No one expects starters to play much if at all in Pre season. Football teams play their 3rd string. If it’s a calf strain he was able to play 5 minutes on, I bet that will be better down the line.
Both Kai and Luka are going to miss some games. It’s a long season. That’s also why you don’t play your stars much in pre season especially with the new rules coming out.
