I don’t want to jump to any conclusions, but if we play Phoenix in the WCF, and Booker and Durant and Beal all sit out and we play our bench more or less the whole game, then I think we’re in pretty good shape.
Nuggets are undefeated as world champions!
Julian can get like 80% of the looks he got today in a nba regular season game.
Strawther seems really chill.
Glad adelman let zeke close the game, zeke was able to hit FTs late in the 4th which was good to see, he was very aggressive and looked more confident on offense
Strawther looks legit
Suns outrebounded the Nuggets, shot better from 3, and got 13 more free throws.
Nuggets still win. 😋
Nnaji > Green
all the nuggets are good
Bol Bol
I think we should trade Jokic. 9 points is unacceptable for preseason, and I don’t see how we can win a championship with this guy.
I think we need a franchise guy like Dillon Brooks leading this team, not some joke like Jokic.
So Bol Bol looks like shit huh?
Excited about Watson, Strawther and Gillespie
WUGGETS WATION
This game basically re-confirmed for me that Zeke is perfectly fine taking Jeff Greens role last year. Malone will probably stick with a 8 man rotation and to me it looks like the two locks for that are Braun and Zeke barring injuries. I’m hoping the last spot goes to Strawther but wouldn’t be mad at Reggie/Pwat considering that 8th player plays like 8mpg come playoff time.
Haha the Phoenix Bums.
Stream cut out there at the end on a commercial with Jamal Murray at red rocks?
We are so back
Also Jokic washed
First off fuck the Suns so off to a good start on that front
Second holy shit Julian Strawther is the truth
Wonder if Bruce saw Jeff tonight at their game
Retire No.3 Strawther Jersey. Nuggets legend.
can’t believe we gave up bol bol
Young guys looked good, what more can you ask for
Watson
I’m kind of surprised Pickett’s stat line doesn’t look better. He looked great while he was on the floor.
Fake win udoka azubuike didn’t play
we are SO BACK
i hope you all missed me this offseason
another year, another fanbase realizing bol bol is garbage
Nuggs still hella fun
Probably the worst competition the team will face all year long, guess we are lucky at least we didn’t have to face the Breakers or Real Madrid who probably would have been a much tougher game. Was hard for me to take a lot of players the Suns had on the court too seriously.

I thought our backup PG play tonight looked pretty good, both Reggie and Pickett looked pretty comfortable out there with DJ and Nnaji. A decent point guard and big connection like the one we leaned on so much when we had both Plumlee and Monte would do a lot for giving those backups more consistency in a long season. Pickett I also thought looked very comfortable and calm at the end of shot clocks and got some great last second looks for guys (even if they didn’t all go down).
I also liked how we had a lot of guys getting after rebounds, I think there are a lot of teams with bad benches in the league and it would be nice to not get put in a huge hole even against those units. Simply more effort rebounding the ball, and not going on those long contagious shooting droughts would go a long way maybe to just raising the floor of our bench during the season. On that note while I would have loved to see Hunter Tyson get at least one shot to go in, the fact that his poor shooting didn’t seem to affect anybody else on the court with him was something I was excited to see for a Nuggets bench.

So glad the team over these last few years that the second unit has struggled has tried what they could to reshape it (despite limited resources), and hopefully with that they can address some of its most glaring flaws.
Strawther and MPJ in opposite corners, good golly talk about pick your poison
– Liked how team operated when Pickett was running it. More options and smoother compared to Reggie running team.
– Julian surprised me with battling over the screens on defense.
Really interested by Adelmans comment on zeke tonight, the first thing he said was that his DHO game has gotten a lot better over the last month, I think that’s an underrated skill for zeke to have, especially on this team.
I don’t want to overreact to a preseason game, but Strawther looked really good. If he can consistently hit a couple threes a game, we’re unstoppable
