Why is Jerami Grant 58?
Donāt get me wrong, I think both Scottie and OG were ranked appropriately, but why is Jerami at 58?
I know weāre all high on Scottie but having him above OG already seems a little bit silly given OG is already one of the best defenders in the league, and is one of our best shooters.

Very odd take on Scottie. Replicating his rookie year is exactly what he did. What he didn’t do was make the improvements expected of a ROY while others did.
Hopefully being ranked lower on the ESPN list than some of the others from his class will help motivate Barnes to put himself back to the top of the 2021 draft class.
Top X lists are always weird without some specific criteria. So do we just care about who performs the best in a random 1v1? Or maybe who can carry the 2022 Pistons to the most possible wins ?
By those criteria, I think Fred would be ranked higher, he’s a better ball handler / distributor / scorer etc.
Does that make him better than OG? I’d bet that any of the Bucks / Celtics / Suns / Nuggets / contenders would take OG over Fred in a heartbeat because if I’m competing for a championship I want a lockdown defender who can hit threes at 39%.
The OG disrespect is criminal. OG should be top 20 at least he has the chance to show and prove.
I like it. I mean Austin Reaves clearly the better player than OG and signed for 4 yrs 56 million. OG should definitely read this article and take his extension now; it is a super deal for him.
Austin Reaves (66) is not a better basketball player than OG Anunoby (67). Ask 30 GMs who’s they’d rather have irrespective of price and it won’t go well for Reaves.
Scottie and Og will jump 10-15 spots this season.
