Dwayne Bacon (17 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists) and Quinndary Weatherspoon (17 points, 4 assists) led Maccabi.

Harry Giles though was the standout tonight and literally turned the opportunity to be in the starting lineup as an audition to earn the last roster spot….
He crushed it with a solid 16 points and 8 rebounds ๐ฅ… More importantly Ben Simmons was creating some good chemistry with Giles by throwing him some smooth assist passes and setting him up for some easy buckets ๐ฅ…
Definitely think Harry Giles earned a spot on the team potentially and a platoon role and getting some of those important backup minutes….
Mikal Bridges got back to his level of scoring and showed some good chemistry with Ben Simmons by knocking down most of the three point assist passes he got from Ben and that's going to be a good formula going into the season….
Lonnie Walker already proving to be such a great pickup for us, and Giles' potential is on full display. Hopefully he will be backing up Clax once the season starts.

Again the only negative was Dennis Smith Jr getting hurt on that three point attempt and an ankle sprain is not good which will likely sideline him for the beginning of the season.
But the loss of Dennis lifts Cam Thomas role into that sixth man backup playmaker where his minutes will be increased more through those important middle quarters ๐ฅ
Thomas now has the opportunity to show he's made the necessary improvements while still increasing his prodigious scoring and to have a crucial role on this team going forward…
