if simmons can play this fast and aggressive throughout the season the nets could def be a dark horse and make a run in the playoffsā¦with simmons, mikal, clad, dogs, and the rest of the squad who r all mostly good or great defenders, this team is gonna be a defensive machineā¦so excited for this season

This reminds me of Simmons at Philly in that 18 game winning run where Embiid was out injured and they played a more up tempo pace with Simmons being surrounded by shooters… was some of the best basketball Philly played…. until Embiid came back and the ball movement seized up again.

Cam Johnson being out there with Cam thomas and mikal bridges is going to be a pretty potent and flowing offense. Ben Simmons, at his best, pushes the pace and ensures the ball stays moving. It was really tough not seeing him being able to do that last year, but he is looking like his old self this year. Prayers that he can have a healthy year and show the league he still belongs.
