It looks like more members of the team have started to pick up Billy Donovan’s system. Pat and Coby stand out in this regard.
Also noticing more 5-Out sets.
Coupled with the noticeable uptick in 3pt attempts I think it’s safe to say the Chicago Bulls are finally playing modern basketball.
This play in particular stood out for a couple of reasons:
Initially Demar passed up an open corner 3. Which is a huge Taboo.
However, the ball finds its way to Vuc in the post and flows into a CobyxVuc high P&R, leading to a layup.
Best spacing I’ve seen since Lonzo was healthy. Refreshing off all movement with intent.
However, Demar MUST become a reliable shooter deep shooter if this team wants to make a playoff run.
What are you guys thoughts?

We actually shot way less 3s than we should have last game especially in the 1st half. our starters took them at a much higher rate vs the bucks.
We’re also always pretty spaced out the last couple years. its just the ball getting stagnant and not finding the open guys.
I disagree. The spacing in previous years hasn’t been great. It was very congested when Lonzo went down and we played Ayo/Caruso heavy starter minutes.
