Who are the people unreasonably doubting the Heat all the time? They are the only franchise with its own trademarked culture. They get more respect than just about anyone in the league.

Sorry but this is wrong!! it has not been a duo!! Herro has been a very important part of this success because he compliments Bam and Butler perfectly. They are defense first and he continually improves offensively.

I’ve been meaningfully visiting this sub since April of this year (about 4-5 times a week) and this my observation as a somewhat outsider looking in:
it’s always taken me by surprise how the general tone of the rhetoric seems to downplay the Heat’s success by chalking it up to Tatum’s ankle and Giannis’ injury (despite the Bucks winning the one game Giannis didn’t play lol) but largely ignore that losing Oladipo and Herro is a crippling blow for a team that isn’t as stocked full of talent as the Bucks or the Celtics. Even in the last week, I’ve seen quite a few (and even responded to comments) where people are literally saying they “barely made the playoffs” and largely ignore what followed the play-in win.
I could be wrong but it kind of feels like the tone is to generally mock the heat, downplay their abilities and undrafted guys and then when someone from the heat makes a bam type statement, people clamor to insist that “everyone respects the heat and they’re acknowledged as one of the best” but that is not borne out from how most discussions around the Heat happen.

Heat have desperately needed that 3rd star to get them over the hump. They should go after siakam or derozan before the trade deadline. I can see those two fitting right in.
Bam didn’t get quite the credit he deserved for the playoff run since he wasn’t putting up big scoring games. His defense is consistently excellent, plus he is essential to their 3 pt shooting as the DHO screen guy

Miami heat needs another scorer. With tyler herro back, it’s going to help butler and the crew with some of the scoring load but they need someone who can get it going.
