All this talk of Coach Griff wanting the team to play with an edge got me bricked up. We were far too soft for the Bud years.
This entire piece was great.
Everyone was kind of beating around the bush of criticizing Bud and then you got to Crowder who really didn’t give a fuck and just went for it.
I wonder if the Bucks had lost against the nets if bobby leaves. He was upset about being left off the rotation against them. I don’t blame bud tho Bobby was getting cooked that series.

Sounds like Griffin is very much a player’s coach and him having been in the league is probably pretty beneficial in knowing how and when to let guys be themselves.
Bud was a player’s coach to, but it did feel like he wanted every player to adhere to whatever mold he desired them to fill – at least to a certain extent.
