Turnovers and defence still the biggest weakness. A lot of stuff to iron out and CP3 catching that TO fetish already here lmao

A lot of different lineups thrown out there today and all of them looks promising to me.

Podz is solid, flows with the offence and a pest in defence too, fights hard for rebounds.

Joku and Moody are getting better, their continued improvement is satisfying to watch man.

Btw ESPN can’t find anyone else to partner with Breen huh? Somehow they can downgrade even further.

  2. KevJamesS

Really impressed with BP. Much like Jordan Poole he was a shooting guard in college who is excelling at the point guard position. However he is much more in control, rebounds well and plays defense. Dunleavy nailed it with this draft pick.

Also gotta love Kuminga clapping back at the Lakers bench with those clutch free throws at the end. Kid wants to be great.

  3. lotsarice

Podziemski you had my curiosity… but now you have my attention

  4. weflippity

Nice to be the Lakers only losses this preseason.

  5. Ahrilicious

Young Dubs played really well a little bit of Draymond/CP3 would be good too to stagger their rest. JK is legit, Moody is legit, Podz is legit, TJD is legit, Throw bum Lester away

  6. Boostaru

Podz looking more like the point god than the point god himself tonight lol

  7. sixtypercenttogether

I liked what I saw from Podz. Good BBIQ

  8. granttheginger

Great play by TJD to save the game

  9. CarryOnUptheMorning

I’m really impressed with Podz and Kuminga looks ready to make that jump and any time you beat the Lakers even in pre-season feels good so happy days.

Lot of good stuff finishing out that game from the young guys – Moody with a layup and triple in the clutch, Jackson-Davis with the putback for the lead and the game-saving block, Kuminga with two huge free throws to go up by 3, and Podziemski putting it away with his last free throw.

  11. BeetLover1111

Officially excited for this season. Our starters didn’t even play that well (Steph and Looney excluded) and we still won. What a difference from last year. Can’t wait to see CP3 minutes with JK and moody.

  12. ImTheBestNerd

PODZ KUMINGA AND MOODY TO THE MOOON

  13. HanzoShimada96

Having Podz feels like we still have Donte

  14. KlaysToaster

I feel like Klay and Wiggins have to figure out their roles. Sharing shot attempts doesn’t help either IMO

Last season I thought Wiggins should have turned into our clear 2nd option but whoever it is I think they have to run more plays for them

  15. cryppin_crypper

Brandin please forgive me i misunderstood your game

  16. herbtothelungz

Bucket will be delivered by jk and lockdown defense but with a side of turnovers.Full course meal of a star young player lol.

  17. royal-smuck

Pods is legit this preseason. He is so composed like a veteran.

  18. This_was_hard_to_do

This is really starting to seem like JK’s breakout season. Scoring just appears so much more natural to him now.

Sometimes I have to remind myself that Podz is a rookie. He has great game sense but he can also take care of the ball (shout out to 10 assists 0 TOs). The one area that I still am a bit nervous about is his ability to score outside of the paint but that is at least alleviated by all the other scoring options we have

  19. hpunlimited

Kuminga drops 26 after being listed as questionable tonight. Let’s goooo boyz

  20. paranoidmoonduck

Podz had Draymond statline, game high +16

Kuminga’s shot selection was excellent tonight.

GP2 seems to have a lot of his bounce back.

TJD got worked by Davis but came back and had a really good last run to seal the win.

    Gay seems washed.

Lakers main lineup still feels like a bad matchup for our starters (at least without Draymond). More work is needed there.

  21. compstomper1

doc rivers: i don’t believe in the science behind load management.

um did you see what happened to klay in the playoffs?

  22. c0gvortex

Podz is the real deal, I’m a believer. Steal of the draft at the number we got him. He *needs* to get regular minutes!

He has great chemistry with everyone already, especially GP2 and Kuminga

  23. CarryOnUptheMorning

We’ll always turn the ball over to be honest it’s annoying but it’s the warriors way excited by Podz and Kuminga should have a big year.

  24. Zealousideal_Net_752

Podz is a fucking hooper. JK has that fire and wants to be him. I’m hyped for the bench potential this year.

  25. hahahoha

kuminga played better than klay and wiggins in these 2 games and its not just the scoring

  26. itlynstalyn

Podz and Kuminga with the highest +/- you love to see it

  27. ImTheBestNerd

Loved that JK wanted those free throws at the end of the game

  28. unchipu

My god…what does Prince have against the Dubs.

  29. Both-Panic-8242

10 assists and TO by podz caught my attention he will be playing against the becnch players for 90% of his play time this year and if he can keep the control on ball like today then that would be amazing

  30. Reikakou

Warriors second unit looks promising now unlike last season.

  31. taygads

Podz with 10 assists & 6 rebounds to go with 10 pts in 26 minutes off the bench is crazy impressive

Edit to add: also Kuminga’s 26 pts in 27 minutes on 9-12 overall and 3-5 from 3 shooting is just beautiful

  32. Jo_Gray

At this point, the GMs were 1000% right! Podz was the steal of the draft!!!!!

  33. AfroHouseManiac

I’m mad Kerr didn’t play Usman Garuba but TJD needed more reps I guess
