    I didn’t know Van Gundy was on the staff. That’s a pleasant surprise. I like how Mazzulla described his role. Taking a birds eye view of the team, and give his feedback on how they can improve. Joe needs all the help he can get.

    More coaches should follow Joe’s example. And this goes for the established experienced coaches as well. This shows me that Joe is very humble and he understands that as good as he is, he doesn’t know it all, and he will accept the help. Obviously as head coach, he must be the one steering the ship and the final decision maker under Brad and the owners. But having the humidity to listen to others is a strong trait to have in a leader. I’m happy with this.
