How can one have a basketball podcast, was a player in the NBA, claims to be better and know more about basketball than most, yet doesn't seem to care about basketball or winning at all. Remember the part where you said you "went in early"? You don't get to then turn around and claim the other guy was late, seemingly based on the fact that you say you were done working out.
I think I can clarify why we have some opposed opinions here.
Some people believe he said he went in "early" in terms of the time of day. The others – and I believe this is the correct interpretation – are saying he went in "early" in terms of going in earlier than he was actually scheduled to be working out.
So he works up a little sweat, claims the trainer was "late" and walks off in a huff, with the rest of the day free.
