The 2023-24 NBA season is arguably the most important season for the Toronto Raptors since 2019 for various reasons. We know obviously that the 2019 season was the championship year but since then, they’ve been trying to move on from the Kawhi era while still competing in the East but they’ve struggled to do so and have progressive deteriorated.
And after how last season went, when they finished 41-41, losing in the play-in and the team just honestly underachieving mainly due to the lack of togetherness, it became clear that something needs to change if the raptors are to be contenders again.
