Nice to see the young bucks wrapping up these close games with wins.

  2. 11 road wins all last season, 2 road wins in 3 days. League is fucked!

  3. Ikeepdumpingthem

We got rid of the poole but we get to watch kum get hot all night long.

  4. if kuminga can keep up anything close to this play in the season….i’m not that afraid of our chances at a title anymore

  5. I don’t want to overreact but the last time we won the first 3 preseason games we won the championship

  6. KageTrigger

Kuminga and Wiggins together was nice to try, and seeing them go back to back in attacking was fun.

  7. Wahmbulence

Love seeing kuminga getting to the line playing aggressive. This is the time to get those reps, build confidence and eventually dominate. Moody looking professional. Excited for the season!

  8. RealDannyMM

Didn’t get to watch the full game, how did Podz look like?

  9. Confused_n_tired

why is 7/18 being considered good? isn’t that bad efficiency? can someone explain?

  10. a-lafrance

Super proud of the young/bench guys for not just hanging with but beating the kings without Steph/cp3/dray. Obviously it’s preseason and they still had klay/wiggs/looney but love that they could fight through the short roster and pick up a W

Also kuminga has grown into garbage time giannis and I love it LOL

  11. Kuminga saw that his shot wasn’t falling tonight and went full on battering ram instead lmao

  12. hoopercuber

please give me back ty jerome and take jerome robinson. in all seriousness wow he had TJD open on a few pick and rolls and just throws up a random shot at the rim and missed. just horrible. podz had a quiet game and it just seemed like he was afraid to shoot. good stuff from moody and kuminga

  13. adifferentuser66

Have we ever been good in preseason before? Cause Oh my goodness

  14. Altruistic-Twist-379

Fuck the beam, jerome robinson aint it im sorry, mf was stressing me out on a preseason game .

  15. unhappywifewtf

Garuba looked solid in the few minutes Kerr gave him. reminds me a lot of Draymond with how he was moving and switching on D. looking forward to seeing how he helps the frontcourt rotation. much better game from Quinones tonight.

  16. Just re-remembered we haven’t had Dray at all this preseason lol this roster has so much depth it’s stupid

  17. Unfair-Worker929

Kuminga has been incredible in the preseason. Really hope he keeps it up in the Regular Season.

  18. thewayoftoday

I don’t want to halt the hype train but am I the only one worried that Draymond will somehow disrupt the flow of whatever we have going on right now.

  19. well that was definitely a preseason game, but it was fun to see the young guys get out there and get a win. Dario has been a nice addition and a nice replacement for what we were missing last year. Excited to see how the guys do once regular season starts.

  20. thewayoftoday

We rested Draymond, Steph, Chris Paul, and fucking Rudy Gay and won.

  21. thewayoftoday

What’s dope about Kuminga is that he makes his free throws, unlike Lebron. Imagine Lebron + making free throws + more athletic.

  22. buster_the_dog

Downvote away as there’s so many people high on Kuminga, and I really want him to succeed, but he still just doesn’t quite look ready..like he gets lost sometimes – and his game is just not all that fluid yet.

He either beats the guy off the dribble with a fake or pure speed/power (like the move on Lebron last game), or gets stuck going to the rim and throws it out to a teammate for a bailout pass. I don’t see him creating for his teammates, and he often forces up a shot.

  23. I love this young core.

    – not as good of a game from Podz as the last game but the fact that he didn’t look out of place while starting against the Kings full strength lineup says a lot. I can’t claim to be a Podz backer from Day 1 but I most certainly am cheering for him.

    – glad to see Lester find himself a bit in this one after looking a little lost and out of his depth in the first 2 pre season games. He and Garuba are both going to play NBA minutes this year (mostly in B2Bs and garbage time) and I think the 15th spot, if open, will end up going to one of them (similar to the Lamb / Ty Jerome situation last year).

    – this was by far Kumingas worst pre season game and a lot of his deficiencies were on display; loose handle leading to turnovers, questionable decision making leading to turnovers, frustration getting the best of him, and trouble keeping up with smaller faster guards, namely, Fox. That said, Fox is a nightmare for anyone, he’s so good and so fast, that he really needs to be guarded on a team level, not 1 on 1 on an island. And with all these “glaring issues” on full display JK still put up 28/6/1 on ~55% TS% and was a team high +11. It’s Bonkers how much he’s grown over the summer and I hope Steve let’s him continue to figure it out some on the court this year (within reason) rather than having such a quick hook for JK.

    – Moody impresses me every time he plays. He’s becoming an underrated connector for this team (not in terms of his passing per se but just being able to rebound, move the ball and take and make tough shots). His athleticism is still extremely limited but I found it interesting Fox wasn’t going after him the way he was attacking Kuminga. Perhaps it was just later in the game / pre season and Fox’s interest was waning but Moody is definitely learning to use his length and positioning a little better. If he could do anything to improve his screen navigation and recovery / trail defense it’d go a long way to making him a neutral to slightly positive defender.

    – I love TJD as a more athletic Looney understudy. The team needs to work on their timing and lob placement though. Lester and Podz both threw up some meatballs long after TJD saw the roll opportunity and called for the lob.

    – finally, GP2 is back to having an astounding impact whenever he plays and seems to be moving so much better than last year. I hope he stays healthy this year!

Dang, can’t believe there’s gonna be another 82 of those games incoming. Godspeed y’all.

  25. dontmatterdontcare

That was a good game with our NorCal bros!

  26. Redditforever12

kuminga wont be a all star this season (too sloppy) but if he keeps up progression i can see it maybe in next year if everything goes well, but realistically 2-3 yrs.

  27. Gontofinddad

Just got back from the game, Trayce had a nice handle for a center.

  28. The Saric 3 on [this](https://x.com/joeviraynba/status/1713739333210153041?s=46&t=SBW3XJi-eEDBr6FtvDfngg) play is obviously great, but watch Moody in the far corner directing the possession after he drops it back off to Saric. Absolutely love not just his court awareness on display but the confidence to communicate what he sees as better options (vs. going back to him with the ball), and it ends with a bucket. 🔥 Huge growth from him after becoming so timid (understandably, given how easily he’d get benched) on the court last season

  29. If this is the Kuminga breakout season sign me up, love this kid.

  30. DrewBHyphy

I don’t care if it’s pre season, HAND US THE CHIP/RING ALREADY!!!
