I mean come on. It’s a massive blunder on Morey’s part. He fully saw the entire Houston saga when Harden wanted to be traded and this man really thought that he was going to do what he did (we all know what) and expect nothing to happen??? Everyone asking Harden to be a model employee and getting angry that he isn’t is being unrealistic. It’s the whole reason Ben Simmons was even able to be traded, one dramatic guy for another.

I think Joel (if he hasn't already) needs to put more pressure on morey and management. This could be his final year as a sixer if this goes badly. The team needs to have a feeling of winning this year or competing at a high level. I feel bad for him. It would be cool if he went in there and demanded this stop and get done otherwise he wants to be moved or something along those lines. Force the sixers to do something. I understand getting judge for you past flaws and recent flaws but sometimes situations change players as far as professionalism….I think he knows he has no choice to ball out because his market value is very low now….as far as his antics….I don't see any so far and doubt if he does any….he has to raise his value to get traded he can't risk that at all….

Harden didn't say he would never play for a team that Daryl Morey is a part of.
Instead, he said he would play.
The Sixers NEVER discussed a contract with Harden on June 29, as it would have violated the NBA rules.
What pissed Harden was the "radio silence", most of which was Harden's fault.
Harden assumed the worst and opted in.
What people don't understand, is that there is a new 2nd Apron, which Morey views as a Hardcap.
Therefore Morey was no longer able to offer James what was expected before the 2nd Apron was announced.
Sixers I hope Harden stay, Because he can lead the players on the floor, He have more experience, We still more good Shooters 😡😡😡😡😡

It's going to get ugly on all sides. The only slim chance it doesn't is if Harden plays better than he has in years Because now this is under a huge microscope, every little mistake, every little odd action on the court, even if they're innocent, will now be questioned endlessly. That missed 3, that bad pass, that lack of hustle on the one play, that poor d etc., the media and fans, social media will blow every little thing out of proportion and it'll swamp the team with questions and doubting.

The three rules for "demanding" a trade and being moved successfully.
1) Make sure at least 2 teams want you.
2) If only 1 team wants you, make sure they are willing to offer a bag that your current GM will accept.
3) Don't talk to the media about where you want to go and don't whatever you do tell anyone that you no longer want to play for your current team…

I guess we learned from the Simmons situation, a star on another team deciding mid season to force their way out in an ugly way is probably our best chance of moving James Harden for something decent.
I don't agree with RB on this one, when it comes to Harden and his affect on the team. They already know he wants to be traded and so does every other team. He made that clear months ago. And I can understand why Harden feels the way he does, I just think he went about it wrong given he's not the same player he used to be and he's not in high demand around the league. If he kept things quieter it might have gone better for him.
