Giannis opened the game with some great footwork in the post, with a lot less driving from half court, or even a full court press. He even showed out 1v1 against AD with a monster dunk in his face despite sniffling defense, and amazing blocks on the other end. Largest takeaway has been how much space Giannis has operated with in the post with enough defenders watching Dame to let Giannis work. Excited to see this dynamic unfold this season.

    Calling the two ISO plays against Wood and AD “great footwork” is funny. It was bad footwork even for Giannis. Both times out of balance precisely because of the bad footwork. As a result he moved his pivot in both instances.
