I don’t think he played that well – missed some easy buckets, committed a couple-three dumb fouls, fumbled the ball – and this was mostly playing against scrubs.
BUT I loved him attacking the basket and racking up the free throws, and even better his general attitude – going right back to attack after a mistake instead of moping. Like when he had a turnover then raced down the court to block a shot. 👩🍳💋

I’ve been noticing his finishing around the rim has tremendously improved.

ive only seen kings preseason game so far, but ngl, i dont see an MIP season for him. His game still looks unpolished af. In half court offense, i dont think he has the skill to create offense by himself.
my realistic wish for him is to continue improving his finishing in transition, rely less on that spin move every time he sees someone and improves the FT, since he’ll get a lot of that. if he can smoothen out the 3pt shot that will be a bonus. I think this season he should focus on cutting and just knocking down kicked out 3 pointers. not really sure what his defensive attribute is, but he has the physical ability to be elite on that end, but maybe that will come with experiences.
