SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Sacramento Kings are not sweating bullets over an 0-2 start during the preseason, according to head coach Mike Brown.
The Kings lost 109-101 to the Los Angeles Lakers on Oct. 11 in Anaheim but Brown insists that the work in the laboratory will produce better results by the time the Oct. 25 season opener tips off against the Utah Jazz.
“There are a lot of positives and I am making it hard for the guys right now because I truly believe that in order to have some long-term success, for everybody from myself to the rest of the staff and specifically the players, they have to be put in uncomfortable positions and try to figure it out,” Brown said on Friday the 13th at the Practice Facility. “When you’re put in uncomfortable positions and you’re able to figure it out as a group, at the end of the day it will help you, in my opinion, make deeper runs in the playoffs.”
The Kings will play the San Francisco / Golden State Warriors at 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, Oct. 15, at Golden 1 Center. It will be the Kings’ first preseason game at home.

Just realized that those loses we dont seem to care in Preseason. Just give the Warriors the message that Game 7 win of theirs was a Fluke.
Please let us beat the Warriors. Kings fans deserve at least a win against a very beatable team.
