Bates & Porter look very interesting and looking forward to them to continue develop for the Charge this season!
Bates situation is perfect for him. He has two great dudes in Don and DG to learn from. They both have great lessons and wisdom to pass down. Mitchell is one of the hardest working professionals in the NBA, Garland great person and ball player that had a terrible rookie season and overcame doubts by putting in the work and believing in himself. Emoni is going to have a lot of ups and downs. He's a DAWG when it comes to shooting. He's an uncut gem if he puts in the work to refine his game. He's a sleeve on defense, needs to tighten his handle and learn to navigate on the court to find his spots and set up teammates to an extent like Garland. Garland is methodical and navigates and flows through the defense. Bates isn't fluid in anything he does outside of shooting. Poor defensive positioning. Doesn't yet have the handle or the ability to bring up the ball. Hopefully he can become passable on all those and with his elite shooting he'd be a great rotation player.
