Josh Richardson has been used exclusively as a point guard since training camp. “It’s not too difficult. It’s quick. Space and pace. It’s not like I’m just walking down calling plays every time” (via @flasportsbuzz)

I don’t mind Lowry off the bench either, listen if Dragić can do it at the tail end of his career, so can Lowry.

As a University of Tennessee fan as well as a Heat fan, damn it’s good to have J Rich back

I still think jruch should come off the bench because ì view him s more of a wing than a pg .The bench needs his scoring punch more than the starting unit with Tyler, Jimmy and bam sharing touches .This team needs someone who can score consistently off the bench now that gabe and struss are gone.

I don’t want to see Lowry or Love in the starting lineup

Kinda unserious but I love jrich so I’ll deal with it for now

I’ve always said Jrich could play the point, I have no problem with it and taller pointguards ftw, we don’t have anybody better anyway. I think he’ll suprise alot of fans playing pointguard this season. People say his handles suck, or he doesn’t stay infront if his defender, and I think he will, and his handles aren’t horrible like Dru Smiths.

It was pretty clear to me last season that Lowry started playing much better when he was coming off the bench. Bench role allowed him to become the primary ball handler leading the 2nd unit rather than being strictly used as a spot up shooter next to Jimmy, Bam and Tyler in the starting lineup. I think we’d be better off starting JRich than Lowry.

People underestimate spo in this situation. Spo will act as our playmaker a lot of the time.
