Tyson really not getting as much buzz because he had 2 games of bad shots, meanwhile Strawther didn't shoot the best this game or at Summer League, but is now getting the benefit of the doubt to not dismiss early hype

Whether or not Booth’s comments were on the record does not matter at all at this point. If I’m MPJ and I took offense to those comments why would I care that you didn’t want that out there? All that matters is that you said it. Booth very clearly made a mistake saying something he shouldn’t have on the record and then made another one by essentially blaming KOC for it getting out there. All he had to say was I didn’t get my point across in the right way, I apologize, I spoke to Mike about it and we’re all good. Someone in the org needs to get this man some media training.
