    The Cramming Maroons are at it again! Go UP Fight! Defense wins games. That 3rd Quarter defense by UP and a good offensive 21-0 run helped them turn the tide. But it could have gone either way when La Salle made a great comeback in the fourth quarter. Can't wait for UP vs Ateneo!

    This game exposed La Salle's and UP's strengths and weaknesses. Without KQ and Nelle inside the court, La Salle got no fight. La Salle's problem, they can't close out a game. If Nelle's there, it would be a hero ball, forced shot. He would take the shot intead of KQ. For KQ, his three point attempt when there's just one point lead, it lacked sound judgement on his part. Magaling si KQ but he has to develop what Harold has, the ability to make good judgement when in court esp on crunch time. When and when not to take the shot and what shot. Pangatlo nato (Game against Ateneo, NU, UP) and it cost them failure to get that W. They tried to attack UPs weakness and it's very apparent in 1st half. Kaya nga sila tumatawa di ba kasi butas. Kudos to Torculas, Belmonte and Alter for doing their role in the team. UP's strength is their composure in court and ability to make right decisions when in court. That's what JD give on his team. Partida CJ wasn't his usual self (I say this from my expectation of him as the spark plug of the team, the one who ignites UP's flame inside the court and the UP crowd). The refs calls are favored towards La Salle. Ang sasakit ng mga siko for sure. Take note the refs called a self inflicted injury unsportsman like foul on JD. I don't want to put malice on that call but come on, that call can make or break a team. It's a tiempo that can change the tide and complexion of the game in favor of La Salle. La Salle just forgot the baton in a relay run😂 Let's see with Ateneo on Sunday. Usually any team up against Ateneo, the refs calls are thin. Sinasabi ko lang real expectation ko from refs ah. It has no malice.😂😂😂 I'm not saying this because of the refs issue. It's just based on my observation, maninipis ang tawag. Anyway whatever happens there's that announcer who rally behind the team. His contribution? His narration.

    Anyway, mahaba haba pa tong season. 1st round pa lang. So UP Fight! Congratulations on your small victory. On to the next.
