Other than OG, just a list of 30+ yo guys with lots of miles on broken wheels. You going to trade for any of these guys with assumption you have give them new deals. Terrible idea for Pacers to do dumb shit like that.
I dont think Kawhi can ever last for a sustained playoff run ever again regardless of how much you rest him in the regular season. His condition isn't fixable and won't improve with time. He was an incredible player but he's effectively done being useful to any contender at anything close to his salary. Pat Riley and Jimmy Butler aren't going to put up with Harden's nonsense. He regularly skipped practices, got drunk with teammates constantly, and worst of all would get trashed the night before playoff games.
He's not the kind of guy you want around impressionable rookies or the kind of playoff performer you want on a contender. LeBron couldn't even get the Heat coach fired, you think they're gonna cater to old man Harden's every whim? He has shown no signs of ever wanting to change and has quit on 3 consecutive teams. The Heat do need someone but James Harden at this stage of his career is not the answer.
HARD no on Kawhi to Pacers. Id be absolutely shocked if any NBA team gives him another max contract. The GM should be banned from the NBA and immediately fired.
Id actually be open to A Paul George reunion . I understand the pros and cons but thats a roll of the dice id be willing to take if im KP. At the very least Paul George would put Pacers in the mix to make the eastern conference finals.
