Every dinner with friends there’s a moment where I go on about how everyone is sleeping on us, and I go through all the fan talking points. This includes paolo only being a rookie, Franz team Germany experience and overlooked status as a great nba player, Wendell carter as an underrated center, and markelle fultz low key being better than at least half the starting pgs in the league. I tell them we are easily making the play in and most likely making the play offs and probably should have last year if it wasn’t for the injuries and bad start, but nobody believes me.
It will make dinner convos in a couple months that much more vindicating.
At least paolo and franz will get a ring and Pat Bev won’t

The NBA sub this week had some crap about Embid and bad luck with PGs; Fultz (was mentioned), Simmons, and Harden were the examples. I was surprised to receive more than 50-70 up votes for 2 comments I made on there. My first comment to shock me was; “can’t wait for the Embid reunion in O Town.” They got crazy up votes. The second comment, more importantly was to a reply. Some cat states; “centers leave Orlando not go there.” My response to him was; “there’s a new Orlando brewing 🤫.” That one got good responses. Now, unless it was all of y’all, people in the NBA sub must also know that Orlando is coming y’all.

The ONLY way to change the perception and the narrative is by winning games. Especially playoff games. Until that happens our Magic will always be an afterthought by everyone in the league.

Man.. I don’t think there’s a better time of year TBH. Weather starts cooling down. Basketball talk is in the air. Regular season is about to start. Halloween and spooky season. It’s the best.

I guess he should know what “should” happen when you have top players because he’s played on five different teams(is now on his sixth) with some of the top players on the list and still hasn’t won a ring. If Franz and Paolo slightly underperform their whole careers, they’ll still contribute more than this clown, and I’d be willing to be that both Paolo and Franz added together won’t play on six different teams their entire careers. He can run his mouth for now, but he’ll have to take a break from doing so in the near future because he’ll have to pack his bags and move again.
