    I'll bring the bad news. As the bs time is over and we're about to start the real thing.

    Nuggets are WORSE than last season.
    Nuggets are WORSE and their rivals (all of them) got BETTER.

    Nuggets couldn't even stay the same. Couldn't keep or replace Brown but not even Green (who should've retire years ago).
    Couldn't even do that.
    Nuggets got WORSE.
    While everyone else (that matters) got BETTER.

    Nuggets right now have 6.5 NBA players on the roster.
    6.5.

    Not enough to make playoffs, let alone to do more.

    6.5 players.

    People are calling for Holiday to be our bench 4 and I think that's insane he's a thin 2/3. If MPJ isn't staggering when AG sits I don't know how we rebound with the second unit.

    The end of the 1Q possession with Reggie & Jamal was all I needed to see to agree it’s going to be a disaster. Jamal is not maximized with similar type guys, Bones, IT, Devin Harris. When is this madness going to stop by Malone ?

    Can Braun rebound? I think that will help back ups. Think Strawther has flashed as ok rebounder for the bench unit. Can Holiday rebound? Don’t think so. Hope we go with Reggie, Braun, Strawther, Zeke and whoever.

    Bench to start season: Braun (3 and D), Strawther (at the 2), Jackson (point), and Nnaji (at the 4-5). Hope to see either Gillespie or Pickett develop into a more reliable 2 than Jackson's probably capable of.

    I don't think league ranking on defense matters so much. It's how the D is playing later in the season and into the playoffs. Last season, Denver was ranked 15th in D, but they were ranked 6th between February and March, and they were the 4th best D in the playoffs. Nuggets are going to struggle for a few months on D until they figure out their bench, but, hopefully, will figure it out come February.
