I like vassell, but they were in completely different situations. Kawhi was being developed to be a 3&d wing in a championship aspiring roster. Vassell was given the keys to kingdom on a tanking team.

Let’s not compare anyone to Kawhi. Prime Kawhi was literally the best player in the league outside Lebron – borderline generational. Unfair expectations. We’ve got a great group here, but they’re their own players.

Devin is being developed to be more like Klay and less like Kawhi. They’re very different player. Devin is a dead-eye 3pt shooter but can’t play with his back to the basket. Kawhi can post up and attack the rim at will but less elite (still very good) from 3. And let’s not compare their defense.
Devin is great but he’s not an MVP-candidate great yet.
