Damn, and it’s even more impressive that we did it while getting used to a new system on offence and defence.
I imagine our starters did play a slightly higher % of minutes than other teams, but not that much.

we winning it all

probably only the assists will carry over but that’s also the most important with this new offense

Not to overreact, but I think we should start planning the parade!

Not to be the buzzkill, but we played the kings gleague team, an nbl team, a play in team, and the the team projected to get the #1 pick next year.

Other than the Kings game (who’s starters played no more then 16 minutes) the rest of the schedule was really soft, some encouraging signs for sure, but anybody with high expectations (like anything past the 1st round of the playoffs) will be very disappointed.
People with no expectations or expect the team to be around the 6th to 10th seed I think are more realistic.
As long as the young guys (especially Scottie) improve or take a big leap I’ll be content, I think they’ll end up surrendering a pick in the 12 – 15 range which will suck but nothing can be done now.
Of course if they start out really bad which I do think is possible (like hovering 5 or so games below .500) around the middle of December up to the deadline then all of this potentially goes out the window, just have to wait and see.

I’ve been around the block long enough to know these stats don’t mean shit all

All this means is that we tried the hardest when it didn’t matter, and teams are still adjusting to our new coach.
Great start, but let’s see the new season 💪

If we can hit shots (3s and mid range) at a top 20 clip, we will win games. If we can’t shoot or have bad injury luck, the season will be rough. Key players are Scottie, Dennis, Precious, and OG.

Now you jinxed it
I’m thrilled that they look good, but this is Toronto Maple Leaf “Plan the Parade” level propaganda.
