Man they know what they’re doing Beal was not the piece Heat need and Dame is old it was a 50/50 gamble on Dame they would of had to trade all the young pieces and put all their chips on the table for a small old pg that plays no defense & Cronin wasn’t trading Dame to Miami that was pretty clear from the very beginning at least to me it was
I've been watching the Heat since day one. The penny wise and pound foolish. They gave Duncan Robinson a massive contract that resulted in a total bust, they over valued Kyle Lowery (who's washed) and they let go of Vincent and Strus without gaining a comparable asset. Josh Richardson is an average player at best. We needed another scorer and passed on Kelly Oubre (21 points a game) at a veterans minimum. Not to mention Pat Riley ran Lebron out of town with a lowball offer as well as gutting our team at the same time. That year we signed Danny Granger and Josh McRoberts. One bad decision after another. And to make matters worse, Pat Riley and Ownership insult Heat fans by trying to convince us that they are going whale hunting every offseason and during that time they don't want to sign anyone until the what is signed. Result No whale and not decent free agents. But at least we did sign Dru Smith (a bust waiting to happen). And to those who say "well the Heat did get Jimmie Butler", yeah remember, no one wanted him because he was considered as a cancer in the locker room. Riley needs to go and Mickey needs to sell. I will not buy a ticket or merch.
Ramil will never criticize the Heat. He's probably hoping for a future job with the Heat. This offseason (like last offseason) was terrible. The Heat dropped the ball and showed that Pat Riley needs to retire.
Brasley beal has one of the worse contracts currently in thd nba and it comes with a no trade clause as well .That is is yikes especially with this new cba .
Mickey probably knows he invested $50m a year in the wrong guys – Lowry and Duncan – so didn’t want to spend more. There is no other contender spending $30m annually on a player and getting very little contribution as is the case with Lowry.

Nonsense. If you REALLY wanted to join the Heat, then you simply could have REDUCED your salary and WAIVE you trade clause. Jimmy Butler did it. Lebron did it.
