I don’t think he ends up here but I still think Siakam could get traded to the Sixers, Harden to a third team and we collect assets. My favourite third team is the pelicans but I doubt they swap McCollum out with a bunch of assets for 1 year of Harden
Edit: I’m not saying I want this trade to happen I’m saying I can see it happening if the third teams assets are good enough and we have a tough first 20 games lol

I am fine with getting Harden if it only takes a couple of our bench players (minus Dick) and 1-2 low picks. It will certainly make this season very interesting and will put us into contention conversation at least.

Man I remember having this same conversation about Porzingis, how we shouldn’t go for him, made od glass, doesn’t play D. Now he’s on rhe Celtics and it’s a problem. Harden here if he bought in would be perfect next to our forwards.

“cool story bro” moment: I almost collided with James Harden coming out of the Ritz-Carlton Toronto several years ago. A bunch of kids were gathered outside the hotel and starting asking him for pics, autographs etc. Harden stared at them mournfully for about 10 seconds then turned and trudged onto the team bus without saying a word.
Jeremy Lin came out of the hotel behind him and stopped to sign autographs for and take pics with whoever wanted them. This was right when Linsanity was at its peak.
