  1. I won't say I didn't believe in Wemby, it was more I didn't care and thought "whatever" about him. I thought he'd be "fine" and kind of have some decent play like Porzingus maybe. Maybe a hypothetical "no injuries" Porzingus. Good but also a "whatever" element where I'm gonna focus on the top guys…
I feel totally humbled and pie on face and all that. He's actually looking like more of a force in the NBA than basically anyone since lebron, and in some ways since before that. I don't know if we've EVER seen such a phenom.

  2. His biggest challenge is staying healthy. He has the talent and skills to perform, I just hope he has longevity.

  3. I know it's just my perspective as a dumb American, but I'm impressed by how fluent and comfortable his English is

  4. What an amazing setup, Pop is the perfect coach for a young phenom like him…

  5. If victor lives up to the expectations we will be watching lebron leave and this will be wemby lleague for years to come fr

  6. As an old head, i cant help the "what if" Hakeem was allowed to. Different era, back when you'd make 3 threes in a row and the coach would bench you. If you were a tall kid, good luck being allowed to dribble even in practice. Players were really held back in that era.
NOT taking anything away from Wemby! I'm GLAD he get to see what a full basketball player can do nowadays. Someone like Bron playing guard helped lead us here (and i give Bron credit for that).

  7. It goes without saying that Wemby is talented and fun to watch, but it's good to know that he has the right mindset and attitude to minimize the chances of that talent going to waste. Love that he seems to understand the grind and isn't concerned with the celebrity side of being an NBA player, much like Jokic.

  8. As a spurs fan born in ‘96….I was spoiled with the Big 3 my whole childhood. I’ll always cherish the moments and memories watching/cheering with family. It hasn’t been great since the Kawhi trade (you’re welcome Toronto) and it’s about time we start winning again…I can’t wait for the WEMBY era…
    (GOSPURSGO)🔥🔥🔥

  9. He reminds me of a young Giannis when he got drafted into the league. Skinny and a handful of talent just ready to be unleashed. Get in the gym, work hard and the sky's the limit for this young man. Wish him and the Spurs nothing but the best. We'll see how this pans out over the next few years. 💯🤙🏽

  10. i wish this kid had a chance to train with Kobe… Imagine!!!

  11. If he gets a bit more muscle, just a bit. And keeps hitting that 3s. Sheezz sky is the limit. Hopefully, he stays healthy.

  12. bros like a center moving like a SG or PG even – i saw them hesi's and c.overs

  13. to be that flexible at 7'4 is insanelyy impressive man. This dude was made in a lab for sure.
