  1. Two series three years apart does not make a rivalry IMO. The Lakers and Nuggets are both very different teams than they were four seasons ago.

  2. The pearl clutching by the Lakers fan base is hilarious—they want to victimize themselves so bad and it makes them easy targets for shit talk. The constant media glazing exacerbated it all

  3. The Lakers have exactly zero chance of beating the Nuggets in a 7-game series. They have proven they would be lucky to sneak into a single win. For all the shit the Lakers talked the last two weeks, they didn't even come within the solar system of backing it up.

And yeah, Lebron did start this with his diva bullshit after the sweep. He had no intention of retiring, and he brought it up to deflect attention back on himself.

  4. I mean Jokic & Jamal just aren't in the club and LeBron has been the gatekeeper of the club for 20 years now. It makes sense that The Nuggets would consider The Lakers a rival because of that but also because of the bubble and having a former Laker in KCP on the team adds something and LeBron picking Jokic last in the all star game. I mean it all piles up

  5. No one has an answer for Jokic. We are witnessing one of the greatest players who has ever played in the Association.

  6. It's not a rivalry, but Coach Malone and Nuggets fans need to calm down. Congrats on winning your first title.

But Frank Vogel and the Lakers fanbase were not taunting the Nuggets after beating them in 2020.

If you're mad about the media always talking about the Lakers then talk shit about the media, not the Lakers.

  7. Do the Nuggets and Lakers have a rivalry? I would say yes. It doesn’t matter how much better one team is than the other because that is going to change from season to season. What matters is do you hate losing and love winning against that team more so than others.

  8. Trim your beard Ryen. The 1.5 inch scragglers look awful. This isn't a subjective opinion. I realize a tight trim beard wouldn't be your look but there is a happy medium.

  9. That’s six straight wins for the Nuggets over the Lakers.

  10. A rivalry is competition for the same objective or for superiority in the same field. The Lakers are, by any objective measure, not even close to competing for superiority. Denver is superior in every aspect of the game, including having the two best players.
