    The Bulls are [favored by 2.5 points](https://www.espn.com/nba/lines) at home, which means the two teams are considered essentially even. Lonzo Ball is of course out for the Bulls all season, so I’m going to stop mentioning him, but it deserves one mention.

    For the Thunder, small forward Kenrich Williams and forward Jaylin Williams (not to be confused with Thunder forward Jalen Williams!) are out. Both of the players who are out played significant minutes last year off the bench, but neither are starters.

    Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is already a genuine star and Chet Holmgren is a highly touted candidate for rookie of the year. Josh Giddey is an exciting young star as well.

    I’m excited. I know odds are we are gonna be fighting for the play in but it’s a new season and there’s a little hope. On paper we don’t have a bad team. Gotta put it all together. Let’s see if Lavine can play like he did in the second half. And improvement from Coby Pat and Ayo can go a long way.
