Hopefully this is one of our worst shooting nights of the season. Not going to win any games shooting that poorly. I think we really missed McDaniels ability to spread the floor.
We looked good on the glass but the transition defense looked worse than last year. Missing shots obviously didn’t help that.
It’s just one game. Hopefully we get back to the ball movement and shot making we saw in the preseason against the Heat.
Ant needs to pass better. Overall a really selfish and sloppy game all around. Onto the next.

Kat 8 for 25 and Ant 8 for 27. Two max players have to come more locked in and be better decision makers
I think the most disappointing part is it feels like I just watched the same team do the same things that have lost them games in the same way for like 5 years.
Uhhh, Rudy looked really good tonight? Other than that, Ant and KAT looked pretty bad, and the wolves shot terribly from three. Not a lot to be gleamed from that game. Sucks it was game one

Pros:
* We got solid work from the people we expect to provide it, just not efficiently
* Rotation players like Anderson, NAW, Reid, and Shake are meshing in the system really well
* Recovered and countered well after second half adjustments put them down 10
* Towns and Gobert were protecting the rim
* Towns was getting buckets from shots, drives, and post moves without fouling
Cons:
* Poor shooting from distance
* Forcing way too many difficult shots
* Failing to fight over or hedge screens
* Failing to close out on 3-pointers
* Pushing it too hard in transition caused a lot of turnovers
Not a loss to cry about, just one to shake your head at. 81 more games to go
3 point variance rears its ugly head early. Bad 3 point shooter Dennis Schroder hits 4 of 8 from deep. 32% three point shooter Pascal Siakam goes 3 for 5.
Wolves win on the boards, in the paint, and the 2nd chance. Defense was good. Concerned that the offense went back to the stickiness after good process early. 1 game shots go in it’s an easy win.
