  1. Lauri missed too many open shots early putting the Jazz in a hole. Sexton is a black hole on defense.Barnes got hot and that was it.

  2. WTF was Kessler today? Coach Hardy should heat Yurtseven a little more for occasions like this one

  3. Kessler defense was good it was sexton, and olynyk and tht they all played hero ball played no defense then gave up easy fast breaks can we please end this two many guys and play keyonte should start period. The other guys sexton and THT should ride the bench they are just bad.

  4. I disagree on the offensive end. The Kings actually were much more dialed in tonight than was typical last year. They don't have defensive stoppers, but most of the shots were contested.

  5. It wasn't "floor spacing", it was plain old-fashioned BAD SHOOTING. "Floor spacing"? When the Jazz went to the hoop, the Kings totally collapsed into the lane and the Jazz weren't able to kick it back out. On the rare occasion they did, the shots weren't falling. If they hit shots, the defense doesn't collapse like that and the spacing takes care of itself. It's kind of a chicken-or-egg issue.

Kessler was passive and had little impact, especially in the first half. It was pretty disappointing. Dunn played his worst game in a Jazz uniform. But nobody shot real well. Also, the Jazz should probably check to see if they missed a follow-up league memo about the flopping policy. One that said "Haha just kidding, flop away."

  6. We gotta let Keyonte run point more. He looked most comfortable of our guards. Definitely some growing pains with him but he wasn’t charging into the paint every chance he got, plus I think he has the best pull up 3 aside from Clarkson and sometimes Dunn.

  7. Sexton is the weak link on this team.. narrow vision, out of control most of the time and he plays like he just got in to the nba. rookie-like.

  8. They neeD- NEEEED to throw the towel in on THT its not working its never going to work, he dosent have the Basketball IQ needed to play starting minutes at thAt position. This was hard to watch tonight but few bright spots were. George, Abagji, Collins. And Clarkson and Olynck . The Jazz defense was so pitiful at times it looked like the Kings were playing a g-league team. I dont even feel good about saying "i know its early", because it is such a bad mix of players that i dont see anyone that can help their teammates be better.

  9. It's hard to beat a team that has 100 games together under their belt. While we have 5 new peices to integrate. Chill baby chill. Having said that tht doesn't stay within the offense by running the clock to 3 a does a spin fade away every time. It's awful

  10. 6:37 Locke said it, the Jazz cant play defense thats one thing, but they have looked awful offensively all preseason falling behind in the 1st quarter of every game they played not including the Australian team (i know it wasnt Australia)

  11. If they dont start Keyonte in the next 5 to 6 games the Jazz will unfortunately be 0-6 to start the season.

  12. Here's the straight forward analysis IMO: Jazz need to build chemistry and cohesion, Barnes scored 33 on very efficient shooting and Lauri had a bad shooting night

Edit: I hope I never see the four guard and Kessler lineup ever again

  13. Happy for Clarkson for showing his worth and silencing his haters why he deserves his extensions and the teams #2 guy after Lauri.
Lauri, Collins and Clarkson will be the core of this team until they decide to go in full tank

  14. There is no clear alpha on this team like the one you give the ball and get out of the way type of guy. Lauri ain't that guy he's too reliant on point guard play to be efficient enough on offense if he wants to reach that super star status he needs to get his own buckets. Clarkson is the opposite he plays too much selfishly and disregard team play he's mid playing off ball but he's really good at iso situations the thing that holds him back is his tunnel vision when he's in that said iso situation. When he gets the ball he never looks back

  15. The kings are a better team. There’s nothing you can do except get better players
