You don't have to soften the blow for Sengun fans. If he can't shoot 3s or offer spacing via PnR he's destroying the offense by standing at the top of the key demanding the ball every play. Pump faking 3s with no one around him. Guy has to start shooting those open looks, period.
First of all i want to say that Sengun tries so hard still to be happy with Udoka's new trash system , but i cannot say same things about Jalen and Jabari . Uh Silas uh . Rockets needs to you and your style and the Kpj and Kj Martin too . Rockets will be so regret about that difference . Unfortunately . Cause especially Jalen never want to stay in Houston with Udoka . I can see that . I said that words with a comment in offseason but no one care about these words . But i said in that comment , everyone will uderstand soon what i mean so now everybody will see this reality with their own eyes .
We're giving Jabari too many excuses. He can't defend, can't rebound, can't shoot. It's time to snub him to the bench.
The roster construction shows you we were going to rely on KPJ a lot offensively this year
Jabari shooting 33% FG with -11.5 NETRGT
Jalen shooting 20%FG with -16.3 NETRGT
Sengun shooting 54.5%FG with 0.1 NETRGT and you blame the center for not being defensive enough?

Jalen and Jabari have showed no effort during their time in Rockets. They don't deserve to be in this team at all.

I don't know why Rockets didn't look for other Turkish center Omer Yurtseven. He would be quite useful for this team. Turkish national team even tried twin towers with them which would be suboptimal but on paper Alp and Omer could have played together if needed.

What happened was, That Tari ( The Best Defender by a Mile) got no minutes, Jalen Green was the Worst I've ever seen Him, FVVleet is Over payed and Brooks Overrated. Udoka by Times looked like he has No idea what his Doing.. Shaming Alpi's Defence but Jabari gets away with it every Time .. Bruv iam From Europe, I went to work on 1 Hour of sleep just to see That Game…. Iam still Pissed ngl

Well said Frank, I think they are still adjusting on offense and trying to find who to go to and what works. I think they should play through the bigs , both alpi and bari, when alpi is not on the floor play through bari a bit more, put him on pick n rolls, post ups and at the elbow. Hes a tall 4, and you have to take advantage of that . If a shorter player is guarding him , you got to attack that every time. I got confidence that they will bounce back because of the coaching staff and the mentality that some of the players have. Even through failure, theres things that you can learn from , you go back to the drawing board adress them ,and work towards fixing them.
It's frustrating to see them come out and get popped in the mouth, and just take it. Your right Tari was missing, him and Tate alone could have got us some turnovers and fast break points. That could have switched the momentum enough where the 3rd quarter may not have gotten away from us.

FVV should learn how to pass to Sengun on his way to the rim. He waits too much. And stop attacking the rim, too short for that. Maybe it is time for everybody to accept that Alpi is the one who should run the show, and set the hiearchy accordingly. Sengun shoud have more touches and more shooting attemps. 28 minutes 11 attempts, not enough. Bench Jabari. Move Amen to 4 until Tari get healty. So poor handle will not be an issue for Amen at that position.
Dillion and Alpi build a chemistry already, FVV shoud work on that, especially on P&R. Guards and forwards shoud cut more, we are missing KJ Martin. KJ was a better player than Jabari, GMs cant trade high draft pics just because they would admit they were wrong. All about politics, not bball
Totally agree that on lack of efforts and low energy when shots not falling. As the Rockets are a smaller team and a bit less talented, their only way to win consistently is grind just like the Memphis 5-6 years back. Go! Rockets. 🚀

Watching them last night is why I wouldn’t have been mad had they brought Harden back. People might not want to hear that but it it what it is. This idea that he would have taken shots away and messed up the development of the younger players is slightly overblown to me. We don’t have any shooters and no real shot creators outside of Jalen and Fred anyway since KPJ is no longer here. And Jalen just doesnt seem to have that dog in him that you need to be elite.
I maintain that if you’re going to be that guy or one of those guys, the signs are typically there early and it usually happens pretty quickly in basketball. Jalen is probably going to end up being a Jordan Clarkson spark off of the bench guy. And Jabari is looking like he’ll just be a rotational role player like a Jeff Green. Sengun probably needs to be packaged along with other pieces to bring in another veteran scorer.
I’m trying to be patient but I just don’t think we have the horses as presently constructed.
