I too hold some disdain for Iggy, but in his defense, he balled out in that series against the Warriors. People forget we almost came back and won Game 6 of that series. We had the ball in the last minute with a chance to take the lead when Wilson Chandler did Wilson Chandler things, but Iggy was amazing in almost stealing that game. Would have had Game 7 at home, so who knows.

That last Tweet from Karl with the pic of Iguodala and Mark Jackson is definitely some bitter shade. I was not aware of this story, despite really remembering that series. I remember Mark Jackson commenting about dirty play multiple times. Mark Jackson sucks.

He said he didn’t like the fans booing the team when they lost to the Warriors in the playoffs. What he didn’t comprehend was that it was yet another season ending in the first round as so many had before. That season they won 57 games and there were high expectations for them. Of course, we didn’t know at the time what the Warriors were to become. That series is often considered their coming out party.
