What western conference teams we watching this year?
Just like the first game Bogi did well but only got 25 minutes…? A player like Bogi should be getting 30 + constantly i guess thats one of issues of Murray trade Bogi is pushed down now.
He was getting heavy minutes in ECF run especially when Hawks crushed Knicks and that was key to success now sadly seems there is no place for him. If Hawks not gonna count on Bogi to have starter minutes i guess they will have to trade him ?

Two games in a row the opposing teams center has gotten away with it defensively. Quin should know better. Capela is consistently getting blown by on these traps and it’s causing the hawks to be in rotation too often

Hawks will not take my joy for basketball away this year. I refuse it.
Simply put, had Trae just stayed home tonight we would have won this game.
This was not a bad game by the Hawks and was winnable when it shouldn’t have been.
Trae made some mistakes but his passing and selflessness kept the team in it and allowed for some extended runs. It would be a great idea to let Trae be the closer of our games. The way Trae shoots (He’s fearless), he should definitely be more of a gunner late in games to close them out. He was a little hesitant and gun shy at the end, but if he can fully embrace that role instead of chucking up shots in the first 3 quarters this team will be legit.

Dre silenced the haters at least. And jalen kept up his good play. If our max player ever starts playing like a max player this team will be fire.
infuriating loss but i saw some improvements from last game. DJ and Dre were much more aggressive and didn’t settle as much. that’s it.
jokes aside, start and play through JJ. if he can cook consistently then it could open up things for everyone else. Trae can still be high usage but JJ has to touch the ball every possession.
Trae is 10000% in his head offensively. the bricks are one thing but he’s missing absolute bunnies. something is up. the more he bricks the more he feels like he has to make up for it and it snowballs from there. i will say he seemingly likes that lineup with Bogi and JJ. tbh he plays well with all the kids. idk figure it out Quin.

The Hawks needed a wing scorer, like a Booker, Tatum, Lavine or Jaylen Brown – not another fucking PG.
It seems like the Hawks FO let the criticism of Trae from r/NBA and RealGM get to their heads.
The 2021-2022 Hawks had a top offense due to Trae’s elite scoring and passing combo combined with floor spacing from Gallo, Bogi and Huerter, plus the finishing of Collins and Capela.
The offense fucking worked.
It worked last year too, the Hawks finished top 7 even with Trae’s down year because that slow spread pick and roll shit – your turn my turn shit worked because AJ and Bogi were snipers, then Bey come along.
Dejounte and Trae do too much standing around while the forwards play patty cake in the half court, yeah it looks pretty until you realize Trae and Dejounte man isn’t even paying attention to them. Then their off-ball movement is bullshit so they can catch and go into a pick and roll, when you might as well just let them bring the fucking ball up.
Play AJ more. I much rather see AJ, JJ, Bogi and Bogi. I don’t even know what the hell is the point of Deandre Hunter.
Knicks had insane ball movement and got hot from 3. Hartenstein is a beast. Trae shot bad. On to the next, not worried at all

At the game and it was bizarre. They didn’t play “Is you ready” by Migos which was disappointing. Music during the game was off. A speed painter as half time entertainment? Strange. Also tons of Knicks fans and they all took home the free Hawks shirts lolz.
Coach Snyder has a ton of work to do with this team because so far they ain’t following his instructions.

Brunson was fantastic. He is a terrific floor general and shooter. The Knicks did good in getting him. As for our guys, yeesh. Trae kept trying to cheat off of shooters even though they were killing us from three. Just stands around doing nothing on D and staring. They ended up with so many wide open threes just because of him. DJM is good but not good enough. He can’t take over a game. Jalen Johnson was the bright spot. Great in the fast break. That dunk over two of their guys WOW. Hunter had a good game. Will see him play well
again in a month or so. Okongwu needs to be better.
