Led by Victor Wembanyama’s 21 points (13 in the 4th and OT), 12 rebounds and 3 blocks, the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Houston Rockets 126-122, in overtime. Devin Vassell added 25 points and 3 rebounds in the victory, while Alperen Sengun (25 points, 14 rebounds, 7 assists) and Fred VanVleet (24 points, 8 rebounds, 12 assists) combined for 49 points for the Rockets. The Spurs improved to 1-1 on the season, while the Rockets fall to 0-2.

    So many chances to put the Spurs away didn’t help when the Refs were on there BS a bit but you had so many chances to win.

    Jabari had the chance to ice on the FTs and the wide open three but he missed them both.Got to make the FTs.

    Jalen Green had a nice bounce back game got to get more touches in crunch time though.

    Sengun was excellent tonight on both ends I love that he trying hard on defense and holding his own.

    Fred was fantastic he was doing his thing on both ends on the floor and he and Al P was much better on the pick and roll tonight.

    Dillion Brooks he was great on defense and he was great in driving to the basket and getting to the rim and Amen he looked comfortable compared to last game.

    All in all this was a game we should have won but we let it slip away the last few minutes of the game. But I love the effort and energy we played with tonight. Don’t get easy though got our home opener aganist GSW on Sunday
