As a Clipper fan I’m okay with NOT having Hardin. Especially if it’s gonna be at the expense of T Mann. Take our pics and expiring. Stop being weird

This video must have come out before the Clippers decided to start T Mann so that leaves no room for Harden in the starting lineup unless some other starter is traded or injured
Clippers are under no obligation and should feel no pressure to trade for Harden. They refuse to bid against themselves and I think they are leary of the risk of letting another drafted player go somewhere else and explode the way SGA did for OKC

Clippers love Mann so much because he saved them from a horrendous rebuilding fate. You can't talk about Mann without his career high 39-point game vs. Jazz in the 2021 NBA Playoffs that gave the Clippers (1) distinction of first team in NBA history to come back from down 2-0 twice (equivalent of a 3-0 comeback) (2) their first ever conference finals berth and (3) ensured Kawhi Leonard would re-sign.
The Clipper's Achilles heel has been a desire to be loved, respected and worshiped like the Lakers, while allowing personal emotions to get in the way of business. A Westbrook-Harden-George-Leonard lineup would give the Clippers a Fantastic 4, enough power to finally net them a championship. Where they cross the line at is being forced to give up the very player who got them that conference finals berth. They care more about their image, how they're portrayed and viewed in the league, and how they want to be treated – not the loser Sterling-era Clippers of the past, but as a sanctuary for the underdogs, the unsung heroes, the role players that become X-factors. In a sense, Mann was seen as a savior for the Clippers, so their reasons for keeping him boil down to "unfinished business."
Obviously you are a casual observer of the team, otherwise you would understand that Mann does a lot more than the stat sheets show. Mann played point guard last year for about 15 games and the team played its best and most consistent basketball of the season during that stretch. When he was benched in favor of Russ, they lost 5 in a row and ended up playing no better than .500 ball the rest of the season.
Mann can score and I believe as a starter he will show the doubters why he is so sought after by other teams.
the 76er's need to trade Harden away is greater than the Clippers need for Harden. What the clippers need is a training camp with all the players they acquired late last season and for everyone to be healthy. They can do without this Harden trade. And my guess is that the trades they are trying to get into this offseason was more on shedding Morris' salary for someone else
Not subscribing you are a terrible analyst and when the video began you had some valid points but just because Harden has great numbers you fail to understand all the negatives and ball touches he would cost the team. A player like that is a cancer and volatile to an organization. He would not make the clips better he would hurt them
The thing that isn't stressed about enough is the fact that Harden could be a one-year rental!!! That's the big deal. People say that the Clippers are low-balling the Sixers because Harden's skills have decreased, and even though that's obivously true, because of age, his value is low because of his contract. If Harden had to more years on his contract, the Clippers would almost certainly include Mann in tdea deal, even though they lvoe him and he's the perfect glue guy to have on your team.
The Sixers are better off settling for Rob Covington and 2 picks for Harden.
Rather go for buddy hield, cheaper. If you're a real clippers fan , you would know why tmann is so valuable. He does all the things you don't see on the stat sheet. It was not his fault his minutes got cut last year. That was on ty lou and letting Morris continue to rot. Again , if you're a clippers fan, then you will understand. Getting harden will put more pressure to win a chip ,instead, it will be more of a disappointment if harden not fully invested

I lost it when you said Kawhi, pg, and wb can't win a chip w/o harden. What an absurd take. The addition of harden will only be helpful in the reg szn and as backup if Kawhi and pg get hurt again. But fully healthy clippers is prob better in the playoffs with Mann than harden
