The amount of people in the game threads getting unreasonably mad because we are losing games makes me laugh. Like honestly what did they expect? I can’t wait until they lose interest and stop posting.
Once again Billups refused to run good plays for Scoot. Brogdon gets double screens, elevator screens, whatever else drawn up for him. Scoot is expected to just hand the ball off to Jerami Grant every play. It’s infuriating. Brogdon who isn’t known for his playmaking has an entire personal playbook, and Scoot gets nothing. The one time they ran a proper pick and roll with him and not a lazy Ayton screen which didn’t result in a passing lane we ended up getting a bucket. Scoot needs to be getting into the PnR damn near every time he goes down the floor.

What is Chauncey’s game plan with Ayton? I get that he said he wasn’t going to dump it down low like he is embiid, but running no plays while letting grant and brogdon dribble the air out of the ball makes no sense. We are giving him less touches than he got in phoenix. Like why trade for him?

I know a ton of people are going to spam me sighting his age but it’s yet another game with a ton of turnovers and bad shooting.
I just want to see SOMETHING out of this kid, even a flash or a good play.

Not the worst game ever tbh. We’re playing one of the better teams in the East, so a big loss was expected. Shaedon Toumani and Jabari all looked good. Scoot did not, but I’m going to wait 10 games before I get even a little bit concerned.

Scoot needs to be coming off of the bench. Mainly so he can play against the other team’s second unit and get a better feel. We are asking too much of him too soon. Put him in a position to succeed.

Honestly would you rather have Chauncey or will Ferrell in semi pro as coach? I give the edge to Ferrell because competence is equal but he can sing and puts an entertaining product out there

Scoot’s best game. I think when Ant comes back, Scoot should go to the bench. Let him actually run the second unit.
Shaedon has taken an important step forward, even if it’s not quite a leap.
Grant needs to be moved as soon as we’re able to do so. He’s a square peg in a round hole.
Toumani is a player. He should probably start over Tysse by the end of the year.
Ayton played better than his numbers look. I think the thing I’m most impressed with is his ability to move his feet.
I consistently enjoy Rob’s decision making on both ends of the court. I like him at the 4 more and more alongside Ayton and then as the backup big.
Brogdon can probably get us a protected first at the deadline from a team desperate for some scoring.
Walker is going to be an awesome bench forward for a long time.
