Hope you get the pun in the title lmao. I’m going to have fun watching this team play. It’s only one game of the regular season but I think there is one thing we can take away from the Orlando Magic that people are going to notice as the season goes on, and I talk about that in this video.
Having giant ass humans that are also skilled as your future star wing-duo in Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero allows you to do so many things. Even Wendell Carter Jr., who I think is underrated AF, allows you to do alot of things in terms of play style, and how you go about building your roster.
The Magic are GIANT, and that’s one thing they can lean on as they try and take the next step as a young core.

I was cautiously optimistic about them this season but 6 seed isn’t entirely out of the question. 10 seed at the very worst. Defense looks elite. Bench unit looks elite. Franz is draining 3s and JI looks healthy. LFG

Great analysis! I was so impressed by Paolo opening night. Like a vet he recognized that he was the designated defender magnet so he went out of his way to facilitate his teammates success. Very impressive. Go Magic!

Magic are going to surprise some people this year! The talent and depth are real. Jalen Suggs is going to make a leap.
Great spot on take. I will add that it seems other than continuing the stellar defensive mindset, they have made a concerted effort into finding the better 3 point shot, extra pass or skip pass. I see a lot less hesitation, more confident approach to the 3 overall. I hope it translates and brings that part of the game up. But we've see this same squad last year, erase 20 point deficits just about every time they have faced them. All while having no real solid game at the 3. If it was a late game 3 fest, Orlando usually failed. Im super excited to see this team this year. The vibe is legit.
