  1. Winning player who plays winning basketball just trying to win it all this year. Good shit CP3!

You feel so assured with CP3 running that second unit.

And for the first time in awhile, our 2nd unit can actually keep up lead or extend it further with Steph sitting.

And those ticky tacky fouls he wins that slows the opponent’s momentum, so damn glad we are on the other side of it now lmao

  3. Anyone not buying into the NBA media-led hysteria over the suggestion he’d be coming off the bench saw him responding in this way coming from a mile away. All these guys care about is winning. CP, of all people, is not going to let a hurt ego keep him from his best, and likely last, chance at winning the elusive championship.

  4. He still got to close the game since Wiggins shot isn’t quite there and the Rockets aren’t super huge. Klay, Steph, CP3 matches up good enough with Dillon Brooks, Van Vleet, Green. Maybe in an ideal world you put Wiggs on Green, but they had him on Van Vleet most of the night and Klay on Green. Oh no, is Jalen Green/Dillon Brooks going to launch a 3 over CP3, oh darn…

CP3 22 +/- off the bench. Absolutely cooked the Houston second unit.

  6. Sounds like a jab at Poole. The locker room is now positive and there’s less turnovers.

When I see CP3 out there running shit and getting that mid range going powering up Saric and Kuminga while our main weapons rest up on the bench….makes my mammy’s tingle.

Niners must have sacrificed some of their good vibes to the dubs

this is the way to frame CP3 coming off the bench – Kendra Andrews (who can be a very good reporter but has also had moments for ESPN when it seems like she is pressured to go to far – (‘whoop that trick’ attribution to Steph and then the asking CP3 what it will be like fro him coming off the bench) her article is all framed about the lack, the comments about CP3’s graciousness about it and the insane output coming much later in the article. I don’t know if it is ESPN in the final edit but it is a bummer. CP3, in talking to Slater after the game said that when he answered her abruptly ‘are you the coach’ was because she had stated it as fact rather than asking him a question. Fair point. I really liked her on dubstalk live and I think she is well respected by fellow reporters on the beat so not trying to put her down – just observing the different spins.
